Rest API get All Status Update

Hi,

We are using the Rest API. We want to fetch all the “Status Update” through the rest API. There is no API documentation for this but we tried the following API:

https://api.pagerduty.com/incidents/{id}/status_updates

As there is no documentation, can you please confirm whether we should use this or not? what is the limit/ how many status updates it will give in a single call?

Hi Sonal,

We support the ability to create Status Updates on incidents via the REST API but the undocumented retrieval of Status Updates is not currently supported.

But this gives the all status update via following GET API:
https://api.pagerduty.com/incidents/{id}/status_updates

Can we use this as we need to fetch all the status updates in single call? or is there any API which gives us all status update in single API call?

You’re welcome to use it but please know that it’s not officially supported if it’s not referred to in the REST API documentation.

We are hoping to officially support this endpoint along with other Modern Incident Response add-on endpoints in the future.

Hi Sonal,

I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to speak to any specific limits that may or may exist with this endpoint.

The endpoint would likely paginate just like any of our other documented endpoints, however:

https://v2.developer.pagerduty.com/docs/pagination

This is not paginate like any other endpoint. It gives all the status updates. Even the notes API also gives all the notes in single API

I did confirm that the notes does not provide the option to paginate.
